Those worthless skins within the span of an hour went from 2-3 dollars to 50-60, even 500 dollars and the skins worth thousands to hundreds of thousands dropped.
The market cap of the CS skin market dropped by 2 billion dollars or roughly 30 percent.
Everyone is panic selling and the future is looking grim.
Now for the not so simple part but the part that gives some hope for some sort of stabilization, lets say that every single red skin in the game was traded up, that would mean that from about the 20 million red skins in the game the knive and glove market would inflate by only about a half.
This means that considering not nearly every skin can be turned into every knife and not nearly all of these can be perfect condition knives there is still hope for shit to stabilize to some level.
Things will never be the same but they can potentially improve somewhat.
