Tesla had the choice of investing its design resources in, for example, an affordable small car that could be sold worldwide. Instead, they designed an oversized vehicle made of aluminum and glue, which, due to its rigid construction, can only be sold in three countries with ridiculous traffic safety laws: the US, Canada, and Chechnya.
