As some who was in the industry, being just a decent boyfriend was a primo position to be in. The amount of talent that either told their boyfriends they didn't have to work or we just given "living expenses" (talking like 5-15k a month) as long as they were mid tier boyfriends at best was too common not to be just an exception.
