Even if true, I still feel for the families that are going to have to find some other way to get food this coming month. Growing up on EBT, it was barely enough to get by, and the food boxes from the church helped supplement, but we never had a lot of food. Food scarcity during the final week of the month was real. I understand all too well what a month would have been like had we not gotten EBT, and I don't wish that on any of the children who are victims of their circumstances.
