Not entirely true. It's the useless degrees and credentials getting people onto their teams.
If you lead a team but you've been given actual retards that can't do any native development on fucking Windows, at Microsoft but you're tasked with redesigning something, you have to use what you've got. You can complain all you like about how your team consists of 2 "web developers", a JavaScript dev and one other person than you that can deploy a native app but unless your team composition changes, your job is to create the product with the team at hand.
