I did keep a few. But not from the staff, from other students.
All the laundry would get collected in one big round up, and then dumped in the laundry room until night, when a staff member would come and sort it out for the machines.
The older girls (15-16) often had skimpier underwear, so I’d sneak in and take a few. Couldn’t do it much, knew I’d get caught eventually.
