What is 4chan's opinion on these type of videos?
Personally, I think they misrepresent 4chan. They make it seem like 4chan is just such a scary-ass place and should never be touched, but in reality it's mostly comprised of people who use the words “nigger” and “faggot” on a daily basis. They just want a website where they can say the most out-of-hand things. The only scary parts really are those shock videos. Other than that, 4chan is not scary.
What do you anons think?
It's videos for retards. Can't blame the makers of them because clearly there's a bunch of morons that eat it up.
It's similar to conspiracy theories, people want to feel excited. It's exciting to imagine a place where all this esoteric and eccentric stuff goes on, it's exciting to hear about stories but not to go there, it's exciting to have a boogeyman you're wearying of.
