The ones I've met in person tends towards being nice, but I've only met and interacted with westernized ones.
I haven't hung out with Indians who still lives in India, so my only interaction with them is when they call me up trying to scam me. The phone scammers are major assholes.

I fucking hate them. I used to have a bunch of them working for me, I trusted them to work autonomously doing simple work that I didn't think needed supervision. Turned out to be the most expensive mistake I've ever made. I won't go into specifics but I noticed some discrepancies and when I looked into it turns out not only had they not been doing the job I hired them for, but they had been destroying stock and claiming a payment from me in the order of hundreds almost every week. All while lying to my face. So that was pay I couldn't get back, stock was destroyed that I had to reimburse customers for, and even though I fired them all a while ago, I am still suffering damage to my business' reputation which has lost me work.
So they have fucked me over on a professional level.
But just in day to day life they are infuriating, they're shitty drivers and dangerous on the road, they have no respect for personal space, they clog aisles in stores just standing around with vacant looks on their faces. The men are constantly on blue-tooth headsets prattling to whomever is on the other end.
I constantly see older jeets just walking around aimlessly.
Regardless of the weather they are constantly wearing tattered sandals that show off the gross, cracked and flaky skin on their feet. You can always tell when a house is occupied by jeets because there is always a giant pile of tattered, ratty looking shoes by the front door.
They are obsessed with the appearance of status, so they wear gaudy shirts and jewellery.
And all of this is just what I have experienced personally. Let alone all of the shit they do online or over the phone trying to scam innocent people out of their money.
They are greedy, deceitful, dishonest scum that actively make the world around them worse.
Oh and I fucking loathe that stupid head bobble thing they do.

But I went to India once on a business trip, and my girlfriend tagged along. Good god, I’m never going back.

The people were incredibly rude, their hygiene was terrible, and my girlfriend was constantly gawked at and harassed to the point that she only felt safe when I was with her.

I’ve been asked to go back a few times since then, and I always say no.

Unfortunately I have to deal with these kinds. They come in for a quote and I give them the best price I can, which is lower than anywhere else. They'll even tell me that they went to one of the big places which means $$$ for name recognition.
And even then I get, "Is this the best you can do? Can you lower the price some? Can't you go any lower."

I'm so tempted to tell them that I need to see the other quotes and then raise my price to $50 less than those quotes and tell them that is the best I can do.

They are also the weakest race on the planet. Not an ideal combination.
