massively inflated statistic, not even halfway into 2020 they started counting anyone who died in a hospital where covid patients were being treated as a "covid death" without even bothering to test if they had covid. If somebody died while they had covid, it was also automatically recorded as a covid death, without even confirming what the real cause of death was.
And no, this isn't a conspiracy, they literally announced to the public that they were doing this, this was the official CDC guidelines at the time for healthcare providers.
Want a trip? Look at annual deaths attributed to the flu and other seasonal viruses from the last 20 years. Then watch how in 2020-2022 flu related deaths mysteriously vanish, almost completely, but for a suspiciously similar number of people to die during flu season attributed to covid.

You can easily see the graph on total deaths by year then see where it is far higher than the trend should have been then go back down. The excess deaths are from covid.
