I know there are a whole lot of famiies that raise their kids around guns and teach them to be responsible with firearms. I know this because I was one of those kids.

My dad took us to the gun range. I got to shoot a couple of small caliber handguns. Didnt like it as it gave me ringing in my ears even with those giant 70s ear biscuits.

Fast forward 50+ years and to this day I have not one single gun crime on my record. Imagine that. Not saying my record is clean because it isnt. But I never misused a firearm not once.
