I tried 3 grams of mushrooms. The trip was peaceful but it didn't really make me happy afterwards. I was still just as depressed and a year later I still am depressed and self hating. Didn't solve my problems, maybe I need to take more but I got a lot of hatred for myself and my life so I'm not the average person.

Around a month and 2 days exactly from inoculation with spores to first harvest but some species can take longer or shorter and depending on if you use liquid culture VS spores.


Spores are way more foolproof, reliable and cheaper but take an extra 4 days.

Most are around a month you will see definite pinning by then or be nearly done, that's why you start multiple bags. If there's no trich green mold after 2 weeks or so and you did everything right and see mycelium you should be good. Mushrooms are strange.

They need light airy soil with moisture like coco coir and some kind of sterilized manure, but you cannot soak them in too much water because they will start going funky. it has to have moisture in the chamber and soil but not soaked.

The smell should be like portebello mushrooms but less earthy almost. If you smell anything sour, bad smelling its bad.

Also for those in here, follow the PF tek on shroomery and do it on a mass scale. It may not give the highest yields, but for an enthusiast its literally the most safe, well documented and reliable method to avoid contaminants. Once those cakes are fully colonized there's basically zero chance of mold or infection because the mycelium is so strong.

You also have to worry about bacterial infections and other shit, not just green mold so you need to be as sterile, precise with the moisture measurements and careful as possible. Mycology needs to be sterile.
