I've been wondering this for a few years now. I discovered some information that could potentially end humanity, or at least chop down anyone intelligent enough to understand it.

the question I have is if stupidity and suffering isn't the point? I know smart people usually exit anyways, but life is for the dumb.

i wonder what masonists actually want to accomplish
they're a weird pseudo cult with a bunch of jewish esotericism and they spawned from a bunch of rich people in the 1700s who wanted something different from normal christianity
they seem like the types who would be gnostic but they're too focused on the idea of a creator for that

i've learned enough to know human consciousness is capable of experiencing the world in ways far beyond what a healthy body usually allows us to see, and the level of impact of what death not being the end truly is
maybe its not enlightenment, but its the sort of thing that affects my every day life and how i view the world, i already feel like i've opened pandora's box

conversely, learning the truth often causes people to die.

I know that to be true, but no that isn't the belief I believe threatens humanity.

the threat I see isn't a belief or a choice, it is a simple fact. Others have spoken it millions of times, I merely found proof of it.

those who survive the truth aren't avoiding it, they're immune to it.

we have evolved to become immune to truth because those that saw it generally didn't survive to reproduce.

is your belief related to how in death we experience the world in its entirety? i believe that death is maybe just a perspective change of how we see that world, we see ourselves in ways we never would be able to normally, see truths where we would normally have misconceptions, see ourselves in a way that is no different from looking at anything else in this world
it is enough to have made me a little suicidal, but i still enjoy living enough to be patient for it

No, that's not the problem

but I do agree with you a million percent. Coming to death's door changes entirely how we look at things, and how we behave. It's a bit weird seeing such profound truth and then having to go back to normal day to day life, no?

i dont want to talk about it, but i saw the world in the space of a room, and felt everything in the world swirling together
the long lasting cause of that experience is now i get these strange migraines quite often, that sometimes feel as bad as what i can only describe as seizures, where i dissociate, and sensations from what i touch linger for longer than usual, my mind goes crazy with different thoughts, i'm short of breath, and theres a sensation of something swirling in my nerves and one side of my brain, once so bad that it felt like searing water was being poured down the side of it
the ER said theres nothing wrong with me and acted as if i was just making things up, no epilepsy or nutrient deficiencies, no brain damage, etc., and it seems like the more i think about things like this the more it comes back
i wonder if this is the result of me fearing what i saw, and my body rejecting it

thank you for sharing your experience. That sort of thing is deeply personal and it changes everything.

I have no bad recurring symptoms from my NDE on the cliff, but I did see a lot of memories I had forgotten, and I believe I saw my future without me, including my kids who hadn't been born yet when that happened.

The truth I found much later isn't new. It's just that the more intelligent a human becomes the more prone they are to existential crisis because intelligence is literally just the ability to find meaning. Meaning doesn't exist outside our heads though, so we evolved to look for something that simply doesn't exist in most places and this pointless search cripples the most intelligent people.

I believe this is a hard evolutionary cap on how smart any consciousness can become. We've run up against a brick wall that has the potential to end humanity or keep us forever dumb or forever creating new crises to avoid the actual truth.

>It's just that the more intelligent a human becomes the more prone they are to existential crisis because intelligence is literally just the ability to find meaning.
its a feeling that goes away with time, i deal with a chronic longing nearly every day but every time i'm with my friends, enjoying myself, i remember how beautiful social relationships are
it is our experiences we enjoy and the love we feel for one another that brings beauty to the world we're going to see at the end of everything
maybe you should go to a church like i do, and celebrate both life and whats to come for what it is
the Orthodox understanding of the afterlife is a lot like what i've mentioned i believe, the idea that we will experience theosis and discover the truth, and that on the day we're called into heaven, the whole world, everything that ever has or ever will exist will be experienced, rather than modern christian ideas of the afterlife being separate
the belief that in order to experience love at the end of everything, we must love this world as we are now instead of becoming conceited over how it isnt as beautiful as the end
can you really say there is a truth beyond that?

It's ok I already told you.

there's a hard cap on intelligence because intelligence is the pursuit of meaning and most places and times lack meaning. So intelligence inevitably gets wasted searching for meaning where none exists.

we can't limit where it searches though, because then it's blind to possible meanings.
Anonymous (ID: v7iZV7K2) United States No.22834713 >>22834733

i think your problem is that you seek meaning where there is no beauty, but it is more meaningful to seek beauty than meaning
