I've been an expat most of my life now and when I returned to my home country I did not feel like I belonged anymore. I will never accept or be accepted where I live now and feel estranged from where I was born. A foreigner here and a foreigner there, neither language fitting perfectly. My ties have been severed and I rootless. I have become like Set or Joseph Conrad. It's over

I am going to move to some island nation at the end of the world. In pseudo exile is the only place I can feel at home. Like a gypsy.
