they move so gently and predictably, i think that's why they don't freak me out like alot of creatures do, even though they look pretty alien

I think it also helps that they're peaceful herbivores
also that's understandable, I'm also a bit skittish when it comes to fast moving bugs that I might lose track of or things that are likely to bite

yeah
the smooth orb shapes with no sharp sleek bits does help as well
you can tell it's not made for war

roaches are completely harmless but the way they move freaks me out the most
i wonder if i'll get less skittish at some point
