Anyone else feel like the human experience is completely played out?Movies, clubs, drugs, sex, ect. none of it's even interesting or fun anymore
yeah kindof
that's sort of the point of "brave new world"
just a big entertainment farm, even though we have the means to do meaningful things
there's still interesting/fun things to do, though, friend
I have came to accept i failed at everything and deserve nothing
if the world economy is only around $800 trillion, that means there's only 800,000 billion dollars in the world
there could only ever be a maximum of 800,000 billionaires, if you distributed all the money & assets evenly
800,000 people out of 10,000,000,000 is one in 12,500

there's always another drastic measure you can take
i mean every time you fail, you can always try another drastic measure, and another after that
please don't misunderstand me & take the easy way out
>>22852378i've been having to accept alot of past failures lately as well
it's hard to avoid learned helplessness sometimes
i think the environment and people you're around can be a death sentence or a saving grace
the trick is mixing heavy drug use with antipsychotics to get the best out of this life otherwise the disorganized thinking from frying your brain gets way out of hand and you find yourself walking in circles in the house thinking you might have done something but not really sure
There's just less mystery to the world and life in general. Everything is hollow aesthetic. Nobody believes anything, not even what they claim to.
yes because those are for human cattle
a lot more are supposed to be helping rocket ships, space, math, biology conservation, or something useful but barriers to entry and lack of profit don't make good incentives
yeah it's capitalism. how can you enjoy a 2 hours movie when you've just left a day long shift ?
