even way after the dark ages, there have been all sorts of plagues & postwar periods & economic disasters in various countries
some really famous art came out of people's neuroticism during those times
i know this doesn't help figure out what to do, but it's kinda nice to know other people have felt the same way in the past, you're no more bound for hell than they were & things are constantly changing

i really don't know what you should do, but don't be too hard on yourself
