>>22881432The fact that people still are backward in so many countries is mostly state sponsored. Palestine is prime example of such place. The spontaneous secular movement that they once had, was effectively suppressed by Israel themselves by ensuring that the 7th century cultists were well supplied. They thought they could keep the place backward, and thus never have another state emerge in their border which they would no longer be able to mess with as easily. They also thought they could control them and now the situation is clearly out of hand. The two-state solution that is now much spoken of, is no longer a solution until the cultists that Israel helped create have been completely destroyed.
