I met up with a fren yesterday, we had a couple of drinks and smoked weed and it was okay. I don't understand how some people can go out all the time and socialise. All you do is talk a bit of shit and then leave. Maybe because I'm on the spectrum I don't particularly get a real buzz from being around people much. If you enjoying going out with frens I'd like to know what's so fun about it.

you should have shared experiences together which you both give a fuck about, then you'll end up having a good time

seeing sights, as gay as that sounds, making jokes about them
making weird noises at old women on their third-story balconies
encountering packs of stray dogs and figuring out what to do
breaking into public pools during the night
etc

i'd suggest things like concerts, but that could just end up being the two of you sitting around again, except in a really cool place

I think the problem is I get bored after an hour. I enjoy the initial meet up and then there isn't much left to talk about and I want to go home where I feel comfortable.

we don't really have any shared interests apart from fitness. he's not too smart and is kind of a happy stoner. he's just easy to get along with.

I only really have these conversations when im talking about my special interests - like movies or politics
