Obvious as a bubble in sealed cylinder, bubble wants to go away from mass (gravity), not a nice notion that bubble doesn't escape, but on a small scale it may be ok. Sentimental notions of freeing the bubbles and doing it again like a ritual could be nice. Or not, maybe bubbles like to be in water, but drowning is a horrible feeling.
Also a turning wheel tilting harder when faster turning can be measured (gyro). Connecting inventions for disability assist is fine. Being unable to move is unacceptable.
Bubble solution may be for air to be injected and allowed to escape, even return to the same place. Silly on a small scale, doing such sentimental stuff could make a lot of diversion from important stuff, and stop a bunch of prominent essentials from being passed on/prioritised.
Visual and echolocation, lazers etc measuring the surroundings could also be used as help to orient to suit, sometimes vertical isn't best for body. Eg going up or down a hill.
Motion capture for games and righting logic should be applied to robotic assist for disabled people. But some muscle use to prompt robotic assist movement, or during it should be done, shocks move muscle apparently, so shock them as legs move simulating flexing of regular muscles. Build up body to not need robot assist and repair pathways to brain that signal muscles used and awaiting instruction. Take out a little amount of instruction so brain substitutes it, assumes what is missing and adds it. If necessary, goal of no robotic additions optimal probably. Reliance on assist atrophies, regardless of it does nood or bad. Maybe. Maybe a way to build your significant other. Get them to be everything you can't do.
