steak is good
honestly, as long as the meat wasn't somehow spoiled/tainted, and as long as you seared the outside properly, it should be safe to eat
ground meat is more dangerous because of the surface area
if anything, the problem might've been eating that many steaks in such a short period of time
brain poking sensation is strange, though, please be careful..
