>Several wasp species are known to attack and prey on bees, with some being more aggressive and common than others. Yellow jackets and hornets are particularly known for raiding honeybee hives, while beewolves (genus Philanthus) specialize in hunting bumblebees and honeybees. Additionally, paper wasps can also kill honey bees, especially when they are foraging.
It just depends on the species i guess but they generally attack hives to harvest honey.

When it comes to critters, I say live and let live. If they aren't stinging you or harassing you, I'd leave them be. Of you're really worried, you could just knock the nest off with a long stick and then once the wasps fly away from the area, you can toss the nest away. Hopefully they'll rebuild elsewhere. That's what we do when they try to build on our porch. We never kill them, we just knock the nest down with a broom stick and they move along.

They are neede to fertilize figs and die inside them? I removed a bunch just so they wouldn't attack people. I think they nested really high to were I wouldn't be able to reach. I just wanted to get the ones we could reach so they don't overpopulate.

You are being tested.
PLEASE Do the right thing.
I want you to go to heaven.

Dominion and Stewardship:
Genesis 1:26 states that humans should have dominion over animals. This is often interpreted as a call for responsible management and care, not for abuse or exploitation.
Kindness and Compassion:
Proverbs 12:10 states, "The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the wicked are cruel to them". This verse highlights the importance of kindness and compassion towards animals, even in their care.
Specific Laws and Practices:
The Old Testament includes laws that reflect a concern for animal welfare. For example, Deuteronomy 22:10 prohibits plowing with an ox and donkey together, and Deuteronomy 25:4 forbids muzzling an ox while it treads out grain.

He looked at me long and hard, with recognition to say "thank you"

Had a issue with them nesting in areas beyond their own original places. Pretty soon we couldn't go anywhere without seeing a wasp. Then the wasps started taking up space in areas that were safe and became less safe with them around.
Before long, younger wasps started attacking people, including delivery guys and people just doing their job on property, for no reason other than being wasps. This is just how they are. Sure they seemed fine when they kept to their own, but they spread and multiply, and make safe areas less safe.
I say that the best solution is to deal with them when they are inn smaller number. Wasps were fine when they stayed in their homeland, but here, they're just a menace waiting to happen.

You sound like a woke cuck. "Oh they never done me any harm. Maybe not all wasps are these annoying bugs that pester everyone, sting and kill with the slightest provocation or just out of the blue. Not all wasps are like that."

You should move to MLK blvd with that attitude. Same reason, same hope, same end result.

If you have wasps around your house, they multiply like crazy and very very soon, you can't be outside anymore without getting attacked or walking on eggshells around them. Then you'll curse yourself for allowing these buggers to take hold and think "we should've picked our own pollen".

Wasps are annoying at least and become very dangerous as their nest grows.

Around wasps never relapse. They're just like the other dudes where you can never be outside in peace again anywhere ever.

"For myself, I would see the White Tree in flower again in the courts of the kings, and the Silver Crown return, and Minas Tirith in peace: Minas Anor again as of old, full of light, high and fair, beautiful as a queen among other queens: not a mistress of many slaves, nay, not even a kind mistress of willing slaves. War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend: the city of the Men of Númenor; and I would have her loved for her memory, her ancientry, her beauty, and her present wisdom. Not feared, save as men may fear the dignity of a man, old and wise."

"We have all heard what we wanted to hear
Truth that sounds right to our ears

But what wisdom is there within us
To live based on the feeling of our hearts?

How many times has instinct let us down?
Never to be thought through, never to be questioned, no

Say what you really mean
When your ambition calls you, calls you

For what use is there, is there in praying
If you will only hear what you want to hear?

We have all heard what we wanted to hear
Truth that sounds right to our ears

We speak of fighting to resist this world
But what about the battle within us?

If we have chosen to live against the grain
Then why are we all facing the same way?

There is no difference between us and them
If we all blindly seek truth from sentiments

We have all heard what we wanted to hear
Truth that sounds right to our ears"

Last advice:
IFFF the nest becomes too big one day, or you just become too scared one day to let them stay, absolutely do not kill them.

Just put a large bag around the light, tie rope around bag and unscrew the entire light from the wall. Take the bag with the light to somewhere remote and cut a big hole in the bag or remove the rope and quickly run away. Return a few days or a week later and all of the wasps should have migrated out of the bag to a new spot and you can retrieve your light.

God and karma will reward you if you do the right thing.

You can always relocate before the nest gets any bigger.
Do not attempt to scrape the nest into a box, they will get pissed off and attack to defend their eggs.

Instead, take the entire light fixture off, and place it at the bottom of a tree so that they can relocate at their own pace.

They're paper wasps. They pollinate and prey mostly on caterpillars. They're very social and intelligent by insect standards.

This is because each worker can actually become a queen and reproduce: so they can have multiple survival/reproduction strategies besides "Help le queen reproduce".

The wasps will give birth to drones and new queens sometime in the fall. The queens survive the winter while the rest die.

Yes. Wasps are just as important to pollination as bees. they are also useful for killing off pest insects, like mosquitos.

They also help wild yeast overwinter then spread in the spring

There is a guy that let various insects around the world sting him, and he ranked the white faced hornet in the top 10, and having been stung by them multiple times now, I concur their sting is multitudes worse than any other wasp in the midwest by far.

The reason your body reacted so severely to the sting was because your immune system had not been exposed to it in a very long time, if ever. If you are indoors most of the day and not exposed to what nature concocts regularly, then you will become hyper-sensitive to it. Also, you likely ran over it's nest, or it's nest may have been inside your mower. That's just cause for attack in my book, castle doctrine. Wasps rarely swarm for no reason. They just want to find a place safe from the weather to build their nest, raise their young, and then move on. If you don't want them there, wait till they leave the nest during the day and know the nest down. Repeat for each time they attempt to rebuild it. After a few attempts they will get the message that it's not safe to build there, and they will move on. Don't be such a massive cuck.

Kill them before they're a problem, while the nest is small. I had a nest pop up under my breaker box last year, and didn't find out until I had to replace a light switch. I closed the lid (which is a bit stuck so it bangs shut, pissing them off), and a little cloud of niggers appeared from underneath it. It's hard to run in flip flops and one managed to get me near the tiddy, killed it though. Came back that evening with a can of bug spray and a lighter, just be careful and don't burn your house down if you're gonna do that. Only a second or two is plenty, it won't kill them all but their wings will be burnt off and they're fucked, letting you squash or spray the rest on the ground.
