been fucking around on factorio 1.1 because my biggest save is there, and despite it being fuckhuge being a selling point (444MB at last check), I've been looking for ways to cut down on file size.
my solution so far, is via pylon substations in the space exploration mod... given that's on the save. each one can cover 4 chunks worth of space with energy coverage, or about 9 times as many tiles as a normal substation could.
I am going to cook my entire fucking holmium supply with my beryl backlog into making more pylons, to replace my previous energy grid with a far, far more effective one. the old power lines will get recycled, and turned back into parts for more grid improvements.
may god have mercy on my soul, because I won't have any for my metal backlog.

That seems cool. I've never found it easy to concentrate with audiobooks, I either miss the book or miss what I'm reading. A friend of mine keeps always harping on about audiobooks but I really prefer the written thing.

Lol, yeah. The same applies to tiktok: I see my family constantly pass on videos that haven't gotten to the point yet and it chafes me. The same when the short-form videos end when they didn't even get into the core of the subject at hand. They usually seem so... unfinished.
I am very brainrotten, but some things just beat me.
