I suffered until I graduated.
I've thought on it for a while and ultimately came to realize my bullies are pathetic losers then and now while I've accomplished a lot and have great relationships with people who care about me,
So letting them affect me now would be pathetic and gives them an underserved win.

I try to let those memories fuel me now.
But yeah, being in a situation like that for years, with zero control, zero escape, and a not so good home life when you're a developing child obviously has serious effects on your mind.

Fought back, which I was good at. Unfortunately that meant getting suspended multiple times and eventually kicked out for "getting in fights" even though I never started anything and only ever defended myself. Took me years to realize that it was happening in the first place because I was one of the only white students in a huge 99% hispanic student body and the school administration sided against me for the same reason, probably because they were so terrified of being called racist.

I took the early grad test and got my diploma as soon as I turned 16 but it fucked me for getting into college.

I was generally the one who bullied others, my freshmen year of high school some sophomore kids tried bullying me and we ended up getting into a fight.

we never became good friends or anything, but we got along well enough afterwards.
