New Dominion Tank Police. It's got the cliches you expect of an anime of its era, plus the cop-movie cliches of its era, except the cops drive tanks. Overall, fun watch.

Yeah, should be right up your alley if you're liking those. There was a first attempt at an OVA some years before simply called Dominion Tank Police. It's also worth a watch, desu, even if the animation isn't as sharp. Half the fun is noting the similarities and differences between the two. It also is worth seeing since it does a little more to introduce our heroine. New Dominion just throws you in, expecting you to have read the manga it was based on, or to have seen the first OVA. Kind of a soft reboot when you think of it that way.
