You should start a compost bin. Gather any expired or ruined food and put it outside at night for raccoons or other animals to eat. Animals devour anything I leave outside everynight. Even if it's moldy. Some of the raccoons get too fat feasting on my food, and get themselves eaten by predators faster than them, thoughever. Kinda my fault they died :(

Salt water to how salty you want the pasta.
Throw it in boiling water and after 3 minutes. Taste an elbow or whatever the fuck it is you're cooking every minute after that until it is as done as you want.
