Really this. It's not that sushi's bad (when it's safe to eat), but it doesn't really scratch any itches. I might have a yearning for ramen, curry, dumplings, whatever. But when I have the EXTREMELY rare call for sushi, I postpone it, and when I finally do eat it, it doesn't do much unless there are other sides like Karaage or barbecue beef.
