>Man, Trump's fascist dystopia sure looks fun! I wish I could immigrate to Trump's fascist dystopia and live there, and I also wish my whole family could come with me to live in Trump's fascist dystopia. In fact, it should be considered a human rights abuse to not allow me to live in Trump's fascist dystopia.

If america really wanted to secure the border a simple wall is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of, and manning the border with lookouts would be too expensive.
The answer is loitering munitions in the form of drones that are kept in "hives" all along the border. Then you have a series of 'albatross' or scout drones in similar, separate hives. Cameras man the wall itself. You could use some sort of AI to have all the cameras "manned", and being surveilled. They would report incidents of movement, or possibly human activity of whatever sort. When a report is flagged in real time, a human being views it and determines whether or not it is worth pursuing, ie if it's actually people and not wildlife, or a tumbleweed or whatever that set off the flag. You could also punctuate it with some sort of scout drones that just go up and down the border or over smuggling routes near to the border etc.
Then if it is a human or group of humans, remote operators control the hive drones FPV style and go and blow up the invaders with them Slavic style. Or you could just have them track them until they are closed in on by actual agents.
