one day I fell asleep while my roommate was blasting anime on the TV, I fell asleep and when I awoke he has an entirely different show and I couldn't even tell. anime is capeshit tier cartoon made for 12 year old boys, and all the Japanese want to kill themselves for a reason. grow up nigga
>>22938383 >I've mostly stuck to 12 episode shows for years
That's pretty common as far as I know. That would explain the amount of bad/mid quality series in each season
>>22938408 >i don't know you're talking to
stupid ass nigga, maybe you could construct a simple sentence in ur native language if you watched more then cartoons made for foreign children
>>22938450
i just wonder what you meant by this >>22938409
are you saying shows with many seasons are usually bad quality, or shows with only 12 episodes are, or what?
>>22938455
I tried to say that there's a fair amount of bad quality shows, maybe because they lack essence, that last like 12 episodes or so. When I said "season", I was referring to, for instance "animes releasing this Winter", the same for Spring, Summer, Fall

OH, makes sense >I tried to say that there's a fair amount of bad quality shows, maybe because they lack essence, that last like 12 episodes or so.
i see
yeah, media in general being "seasonal" is kind of a recipe for disposable crap
alot of older 12-13 episode shows are decent
it seems like 12 or 24 episodes is sort of a standard

I don't, but I'm real sick of the slop they put out these days. I mostly stick to manga and sequels that I know will be good (re:zero, danmatchi, etc.) Luckily there's plenty of older anime to last me years if not more. >>22938383 >12 episode shows
I kind of hate these now because it almost always takes 3 or 4 episodes just to get things established, and then you only have barely 8 episodes of actual plot/development.

Recently I watched the new Gundam with the absurdly long name. I liked it, visuals were really good, music was also good, characters and story setup were interesting, feels like it could've been truly great. But for some reason, they decided to only give the show 12 episodes and it just ruined so much. Felt like everything was rushed and all the really cool ideas I liked just didn't get a chance to be properly explored. At least the mech designs are cool though...
