wondering if my girl friends have been replaced by impostors

i've suddenly become aware of how often they'll, like, bulge their eyes out while talking to me about whatever. just completely bugging out constantly, in normal mundane conversation. it makes me nervous, why do they fucking do it?

idk but it makes me uncomfortable as well

i guess it's uncanny because you have no idea what they're actually thinking, just that they're trying to make you not feel uncomfortable
the eyes and face are supposed to let us have empathy and see what other people are interested in, that's partly why our eyes look the way they do

i wouldn't necessarily say it means they're fucked up, but yeah
you can always fuck with them or banter a bit in a way that breaks through it
they'll probably like that unless they're trying to manipulate you
