My friend from highschool and I were talking to eachother like 2 and a half years ago about NoFap. He admitted to me that he has never gone 3 days without fapping since he was young. This same guy had a bad diet as well, a smoker and he has super thick long hair without a receding hairline. I've been jerking off practically daily since I was 10 years old, (25 now) eating like shit and I'm a smoker. My hairline hasn't changed since I was like 13, and the volume of my hair is still the same since I was a kid.

All in all, I think genetics plays a much larger role in whether you keep your hair or not. But, bad diet and cooming too much definitely has a bad effect on hair. When I was on NoFap for like 6 months, I would have way much less hairfall (and seemingly thicker hair) in the shower and I have long hair.
