yeah i read the first three or four. they were decent. i didn't think they were some high literature like everyone makes them out to be and it's not really a coherent story or world, more like an anthology of stories but it's fairly unique so it has that going for it at least.
what i most remember is that at the end of the first book, the cunt author does a victory lap bragging about how she made the main characters brown and the barbarians white but only revealed it halfway because she didn't describe the characters until then.
overall though i don't think it's a waste of time to read at least the first couple of books.
