I think Charls and Nick have both been held back by Sam's retardation, they both have natural talents for comedy and art, Charls in particular is a decent actor, but Sam is, as Charls says, useless and not really good for anything. Sam is a tech guy, he does video editing and effects, and during MDE's heyday it was obvious that he was actually the most "replaceable" part of the crew, whereas Charls and Nick both held their own as actors and comedians. They lost World Peace because Sam wouldn't stop antagonizing the network despite getting literally everything he could have possibly dreamed of as a creator, Sam ruined their big dream.

Wait, which one did you listen to or do you just want a short (albeit equally shitty) breakdown? We can all guess that Sam would act this way if he got "out-comedian-ed" or "out schticked" by another "comedian". But it essentially broke down to Harland Williams doing a bunch of nonsensical bullshit to pull Sam away from his plans of dominating the podcast, Sam got angry that things weren't going his way, and so he threw the expensive recording equipment laden desk and threw it over. He also got physical with Harland and when things finally calmed down and Sam actually tried plugging MDE2 or whatever Harland deliberately edited out all of Sam talking post podcast, calling the black screens/editing choices "technical difficulties" which was going to be one of Harland's gags for this podcast specifically.

Like I said, I really don't like this post-post-modern "comedy". I don't get it. Sometimes it's funny, but I don't know why? So, maybe it's le epic pwnage for Harland. Maybe Sam was justified? I have no fucking clue, the autistic small, smooth, neuron-less ball bearing inside of my skull that I call my brain can't decode these advanced signals and cues and whatever the bullshit.
