Ideally sex and reproduction should be something that you have locked down so that you can focus your attention on higher pursuits. That's incorrect, since programming implies a programmer. The need to reproduce is more like an accident, but a likely accident since non-reproducing species wouldn't be around for very long.

The problem with the search for meaning is that there isn't any inherent to our existence. We're here for no reason.

Science is what proves we must reproduce. Darwin is a wonderful replacement for god. He has only one command, be fruitful and multiply, from which all rules flow.

Monogamy must not just be practiced, but actively enforced, to maximize the success of each generation. Humans objectively do better under monogamy. Polygamists might have more offspring but they are more fragile people that can't adapt and improve (would you prefer to be a rat, or a wolf?)
Children must honor their parents in order for this to function, for it is the most basic arrangement for ensuring long term human survival
