Wow, who would of thought a product of our genetics that regulates vitamin d production and protects us from the solar radiation based on the amount of sunlight received by any given geographical region our ancient ancestors predominantly resided in, has zero bearing on cognitive ability. That being said, nature begets nurture, and there's a line of thought that goes something like: monkeys in harsher climates away from the poles developed behavioral/social characteristics to contend with not dying during winter (and food scarcity) whereas monkeys closer to the equator did not require those characteristics. Of course now, our species mobility renders all that moot-- so basically, we abolish tribalism in all its modes and derive a global monkey citizenship... base on internet aptitude, o' course.

i feel you
>Of course now, our species mobility renders all that moot
this is the key in many ways, idk how many people remember that but it's true

permaculture is interesting
interdependent systems

i think white people from snow climates tend to get addicted to sugar easier than browner people
they get a greater reward/kick from sugar since it would be much more rare
whereas, a dude in central america has constant access to fish and fruit year-round, so he's gonna be adapted to not getting diabetes & not engorging himself

native americans seem prone to alcoholism for some reason, as well

* nearer the poles
* based

One supposes internet aptitude would simply reintroduce tribalism, so erryone can live annywhere-- dicks, assholes, and cunts get exiled to a purpose built lunar colony. A 'Giant leap for mankind' ordeal, you know.

feels alcoholism (or excessive self soothing behaviors in general) is more a result of social conditions

Particularly egregious dacs, to clarify. The sort seemingly bereft of any semblance of basic decency or civility or capacity for redemption.

By the by or something~

sugar metabolism in the liver evolved over millions of years. its almost the same for everyone. if anything it's the same people who you say are adapted to fruit that got super fat once they started introducing tons of imported HFCS foods (all hawaiians and latinos are fat as fuck and eat high carb)

It's almost like the high adaptation to fructose in their environment made them better suited to convert said fructose to fat to survive. But for most other people it's hard to get fat from carbs / fructose.
