The problem goes way back to the baby boomers and even the generations before.
When we came on the scene nobody knew what they were doing and those who did maliciously gave us bad advice so they could laugh when we stepped on the land mine they just planted.

If you know Jerma, you'll know he's on the older side and mostly grew up during the 90's. He never brags about it or says that "MUH 90'S WAS THE PEAK OF LIFE!!!!" but when he recently mentioned Seal's "Kiss From A Rose" and I listened to it or when I listened to the Beatles after listening to Seal, I could only think "If I have some misbegotten children and must absolutely raise them, I want them to learn to appreciate music. And the best way is to have them listen to stuff like this. Not some nigger rap shit which will be what everyone will be listening to once I have kids."

So, they're right, life was better. Meaning was clear cut. And trannies were still the butt of jokes in movies which were actually still good and not corporate slop. But if there's anything with which we can still take and move on from the 80's and 90's, for me, it'll be the music which I want to pass onto the next generation. No surprise that I have an undergrad degree in music.
