i think the thing i hated the most about using discord for the almost 10 years i did use it - was the insane amount of of social invalid/inept-egocentrica-crab-bucket retards that were on it. The amount of people on it that assumed I as big a loser as them because they were huge losers is just fucking up there
and i absolutely hated it. I have a lot of free time at my job becaude i am genuinely good at my job to the point where i finish that early so i spent that time just shit posting on discord. Then mothersbasement dwelling retards would think i dont work or do anytning simply because i have a lot of free time. i genuinely do not miss the insane amounts of egocentrism that was on discord and the literal inability to visualize that someone may just be better than you. I also dont miss being dragged into shit while im asleep. Waking up to tons of DMs about some shit that i got dragged into while literally unconcious.
the first few years of discord were cool because it was literally just full of gamers and people wanting to make friends
now it's just full of people whose entire life is discord and twitter

I stopped reading after "discord". I don't use discord. I tried /soc/ to find people to talk to so eventually I could actually talk to them via vc in discord. I chatted to like five people and after I left a message of (in short) "Sorry but I need to study for Uni exams" and then came back a week later everyone was gone or never replied to any of my later messages. Apparently, it's some "cardinal sin to have a life outside of Discord" so everything for the purpose of making friends and talking to people was pointless. I wanted to talk because I spend days at a time staying indoors, just not speaking and then when I'm outside and need to say something, it's like my jaw is rusty or something. My speech therapist said talking everyday is important or something I dunno.
