I did the same thing as you: burned out from web dev in part due to addiction (long since recovered), then COVID fucked me over hard and I had to work shitty warehouse jobs for a while.
Your QOL sucks and you're breaking down your body working those jobs. You also don't want the people you're stuck with at them to rub off on you too much. Whether you believe it or not, everyone is influenced by the people they're around every day and being around warehouse workers day in and day out will make you a crass, disheveled, vulgar goblin.
