I didn't see but I'm sure they're nice enough if you're into that stuff
I've never tried kimchi but I typically don't love fermented stuff unless it gets me pissed lul

>choice
no wonder why it’d be popular with kiwis
those ones are pretty good. strange they didn’t have any over there since there’s usually hundreds on the shelves here and I can’t see any issues with shipping since it’s extremely easy to ship goods between australia and new zealand, they’re even made from aussie flour so you can’t blame it in global supply lines.

>maggi
no one, no matter how masochistic they are, should have to endure consuming that greasy, soggy, salty slop. I'd take the black and gold brand mystery beef flavour over maggi any day. also I noticed on the woolies nz(the supermarket chain formerly known as countdown) the 5 packs are still unavailable while they're in stock here also most things are about 10% more expensive after adjusting for exchange rate.
Anonymous !!JigZL4xwmJH (ID: 2orhyJHK) New Zealand No.23030780 >>23030836
>>23030754
I usually add a bitta meat to give them some flavour, plus the cup maggi aren't as tragic as the normal 5 packs
also yeah we only have the cup ones for now but that's ok cause I like those ones the best anyways

fair, I know it's a few extra step but I like to cook up teriyaki kangaroo, my local butcher sells roo loin for about 15 bucks per kilo or my cousins just gives it to me from their hunt, and have in coles brank mi goreng, which for some reason tastes exactly like indomie mie goreng.

what's kangaroo like? I always wanted to try it but it's not really available where I live, that sounds good though
also mi goreng are the goods, I kinda went off em for a while but they're still great every now and then
Anonymous (ID: HHKRSq3+) Australia No.23030930 >>23030931 >>23030941

roo's flavour is very similar to grass raised beef, seeing as they're wild animals, but the meat's extraordinary lean and a bit tiny bit gamey, the thing that set it a part beef the most that, although it's not tough, the muscle meat is quite dense and is a bit similar to a lamb shank but without all the oily fat. just think of beefy grass fed lamb shanks.
it's been a while since I've been over but I remember seeing it available in some meat barns, as a novelty mostly, >>23030859
around the north island and in so aussie owned bucher shop.

that actually sounds really nice damn
I live in the middle of nowhere in the south island so it's a no-go unless I get it shipped in for like a jillion dollars
gonna look into it again cause my curiousity is piqued
Anonymous (ID: HHKRSq3+) Australia No.23031001 >>23031024

I can see that being a problem, and being in the south island, it'd be hard to find an importer. not to mention a lot of aussies I know who live on the south island are tarrant wannabe nutters who probably won't help much.

yea I mean there are places online it's just the shipping on it is usually a bastard, or the price itself, or they only deliver to auckland or smth lol

shit that'd sting. I'm surprised woolies doesn't stock it frozen over there. you'd think it'd be the first thing they'd do in their quest to kill the domestic kiwi grocery industry.

hah too right
you can get tubs dog food made from kangaroo at my local supermarket but I'm not super keen on trying that
Anonymous (ID: HHKRSq3+) Australia No.23031058 >>23031063
>>23031035
yeah nah, that'd be made from culled roo's and would have shot and processed sloppily. even though it'd most likely be safe I don't recommend it. though that has given me the idea whether ultra processed kangaroo hot dogs and cheerios would be any good.

oh man I just remembered I have cheerios in the fridge, that's gonna be dinner
also those would probably go hard and be a great tourist trap lol
