M'y mother suffers from Hashimoto's encephalopathy. The diagnosis is so fucking long that i cant bear to watch her suffer like this.

Its usually treated with methylprednisone to reduce the inflammation, but i need a prescription.

That's just a generic steroid. You can get prednisolone prescribed for a cat (they can't metabolise prednisone so it needs to be the simpler form) and then just take that instead.

The long term side effect is elevated blood pressure.
