>what kind? if its on the lips how bad is it to live with?
it's on the lips
not very bad in my case
every 6 months to a year, i'll wake up with an outbreak that lasts maybe a week at most
just a slight itching/burning for the first half, then the skin feels kinda raw/tender as it slowly returns to normal
i usualy wipe it with a paper towel & that seems to keep it clean/dry and help the itching

yeah but only tiny ones not like clusters you see on the pictures

do people notice? if it's just tiny cold sores like i've had since childhood i wouldn't care myself about having it or not. how did you get it if im not being too intrusive?

mine looks like that when it's at its worst, sometimes over a bigger area though
>>23061478
>do people notice?
i don't go out much, but i don't think so
you'd have to be paying attention and be up close to really tell
remember this >>23061476 is under bright fluorescent lighting, though that is what it looks like
>how did you get it if im not being too intrusive?
i don't know honestly
i wasn't very careful in middleschool/highschool, but i'm a virgin and haven't kissed anyone
if i had to guess, i think i used some chapstick my friends mom had used, while i was on a boating trip

you could probably use some foundation/concealer which matches your skin tone, if you really had to hide it temporarily
dunno though

just that, or do you use acyclovir?
Anonymous (ID: GmkcsjX7) United States No.23061505

>acyclovir
haven't heard of that, i just use dry paper towel
but yeah, i don't think my outbreaks are very bad

I would expect it's available to you over-the-counter as a topical cream at any pharmacy
might not hurt to keep a tube in your stocks for next time, even just as an experiment

it really would be good to keep some around
>>23061550

the last time i went to the pharmacy, i got followed because the employee thought i was gonna shoplift, i guess
