it's fine to be autistic and quiet. the bosses just want to know that you were there and participated. the other folks just want to show up and be seen. just listen politely to what people say and ask them follow up questions to show you're listening. if you don't have anything to say don't say anything. think of it like daycare for adults. you want to be nice and polite but it's not that serious. the hardest part is how boring these things are but alcohol helps with that

I have ADHD and take adderall, I can sit through anything, I'll just bring my fidget ring or daydream
