I do own a telescope and I've looked at the planets; they're just bright lights in the sky. Besides, whatever the planets may be they still would not change the fact that there is no measurable curvature on our world.

What hurts the flat earth-disprovers is they always use fish eye lenses when they send their balloons up which gives an artificial curve. I get why they do it, they send they balloon up and at max height it's still only going to capture what? 400-500 miles of the horizon? At that elevation the horizon still seems relatively flat, and when you take the artificial curve that the fish eye lens gives and extrapolate it over the entire distance of the surface of the earth you most definitely don't end up with a round shape.
