i think it's probably better to stick to weed rather than opiates when possible, unless you need to take opiates instead for some specific reason, like maybe they don't have as many side effects or something & you have to be in public

i've been prescribed them because of how severe my pain is and they help it more consistently than weed, they just taste nasty and make me super drowsy and sleepy so sometimes i choose weed over them

if you can find things to do to take your mind off it, find a place in the world & build habits to the point where it's easy to immerse yourself in something else & talk to people, that would be ideal
i just think if you're on 4chan asking this it's probably a sign that you're at a dead end, maybe because of the pain

ive been in severe pain daily since i was around 10 years old lmao, only pain medication can fix me atp. i wish i could fix things in that way but thats a little Friendship Is Magic for my actual situation. if i smoke too often, it stop working completely for a while and ive been smoking for the past few days so i took the pills. all 3 options suck, rn i just care about being in as little pain as possible.

i get that for, for lack of a better term, normal people taking such addictive meds sm is off putting and scary but its just part of my life atp. chronic pain and life long illnesses are weird
