I used to think the same, then played Kenka Banchou, Disgaea and Akiba's Trip and now I have a better image of vidyas. Anime/manga, films, VNs and books are still superior though.

Albion is the best sandbox MMO out right now. Cyberpunk is basically a better version of GTA now that it’s been fixed with patches. BG3 is the best its genre has ever seen.

I've beaten all of owlcats games and they aren't nearly as good. They're literally mass produced slop desu. All of the games are basically the same. Even the 40k one is just Pathfinder with guns. They didn't even have the foresight to put real aliens in the 40k game. You're fighting humans almost 100% of the time.

True, wish I enjoyed them as I did when I was a kid. It would improve my mental health so much.

The characters are all cringe in Wrath of the Righteous too. Killing them all and forming your own party is the correct way to play the game.

Wrath of the Righteous is nothing like Kingmaker. An objectively worse game in every category compared to Kingmaker. So that makes me doubt that played it.
Also you have to beat act 1 on Rogue Trader anon, act 2 onward is all demons and xenos from then on with cultists mixed sparingly. And it plays nothing like the pathfinder games sorry

bg3 is good, but its not great. Its flashy graphics and good voice acting are doing 95% of the work. Its run of the mill crpg at best.

There is nothing you can do in pathfinder that you can't do in BG3. Especially with the user created maps and mods. I've even had one of my friends create a full dnd game with custom maps and spells.
