There are no original ideas. You and I have never had an original thought in our lives.

new words get invented all the time
no medieval peasant ever thought "I should make a blog post responding to that podcast that was on my twitter feed"

As new concepts come into existence, they can be used to create new thoughts.
Even if you think with language words

good point
i guess you can create or discover those concepts by acting in the world, and then the thoughts & language come afterward

I'm reminded of when Dr. Hertz famously proved the existence of radio waves, he said "I do not think that the wireless waves I have discovered will have any practical application."

I don't think there's just an original thought pattern or structure that humans create in our heads, we just rehash different words and concepts to fit the changing material world pretty much.

Someone thinking of a well thought out rebuttal to some vlogger in todays world would be similar to the peasant being forced to listen to the lords lands news guy going from village to village talking about whatever and then that peasant thinks about and then bitches to his buddies about it.

I'd argue that's not just a reinterpretation of your op statement, it's a whole new statement.

>6:02 pm today is the same pattern as 6:02 pm yesterday therefore it's not a new time; only the material world changed
>Something I think is kinda similar could've happened in the past, therefore no thoughts are original.

Is it really so hard to just admit that you're wrong, Anonymous?
