guess no news is good news for now. been a really ugly market beneath the surface, major selling going on, poor breadth in this market. that can't last forever. but it can go on a long time. test of discipline for holding individual stocks. much higher prices will come in the future, and it allows for buying opportunities, but this is a real nightmare for trading individual tickers, unless you're holding one of the ones they're using to tentpole the indices up with. i know the mercury retrograde doesn't really effect stock prices, but the people who do manage stock prices like to play games, and are probably aware of it, and coordinating the dancing with the music is something they often do, and all the mercury retrogrades this year have been pretty bearish. maybe tomorrow they can start buying big again, i hope so. didn't watch much of this trading day but it was ugly, and that has been the trend for a while. gonna shower and then dry off in the sun, have a smoothie.

nice up day, but it was nicer in the premarket. biotech is healing a lot, xbi probably makes a run to 95 now that fed cuts are looking likely. btbt being stubborn even though eth is at it's yearly highs, they have an earnings report on thursday. it's the best of the eth treasury companies imo, they have profitable side businesses whereas the others do not. red on both these trades but expect to make money with them. probably not the most efficient use of my margin, been half a month now been stuck here, but expect to make good profit eventually. sasol is pumping nicely, it will probably continue, not only is it a great value play it's a good counterweight to tech and growth portfolios, also a foreign stock so diversification out of usd. really think it's a great investment and don't worry about how much it has pumped, it has a very long way to go still. got stuff to do today, visitors coming, wanna get some food as well, gonna step away from the computer.

stopped gaining weight, settling at 177 lbs, starting to drop body fat again. in the last 2 days i've developed what i call ab dimples, which is the start of a v-taper which is a big goal of mine. people on /fit/ say that you can't spot target fat, but that's actually not completely true, your muscles absolutely do draw from the fat cells nearest to them for energy, and lower belly fat is the hardest to target because it's so hard to activate those muscles, but two very good ways to do that are chin ups and deadlift, which i've been doing a lot of and making good progress on. as skinny and lean as i was, there was still plenty of fat to lose, but i'm nearly where i want to be, which is visible abs without flexing, lower abdominal muscles visible. cardio is also key to achieving this.
anyways it's btbt earnings day, it's up some in the premarket, and i could sell at a loss and still have 400 cash, but i'm going to try not to break the piggy bank open just yet, catch a big move and maybe tomorrow i'll have a lot of cash to put to work. i didn't trade much this last month, but it was enough to put me in a pretty good spot, although the profits have slowed down a bit because of blunders and fear, that could change tomorrow. as it is i've booked 5300 in trading gains since april, which is a huge tailwind to my returns and allowed me to buy a lot this year. so ya. even though i'm sad and frustrated about stuff, i have a lot going for me and i need to remember that. i'm trying to take friends along with the journey, journaling all my trades and workouts, soon i'll be rich and beautiful, it can happen to you too. probably not gonna trade today, but i might, today i think will be tricky though, got a major event tomorrow and just had two huge up days. and i just looked and everything went big red, must have got bad ppi numbers.

Lets hope so. The "aktienrente" that the fdp wanted to push got rugged before it go true. Most germans, especially the older ones still love to hoard their money under their matress instead of being in the market.
