the only difference, in that regard, between AI and search engines, is that AI is a few steps closer to directly viewing the users thought process
but there's sophisticated techniques to predict people from very small amounts of data anyway
i don't know, i guess people also try to shoehorn in AI instead of doing things themselves, using it likes an IRL quality of life mod
in that regard, it might be more INVASIVE than search engines, so it's worse in that way as well
