I was wondering what I was gonna do, because I mostly only like things that are vaguely social conscious and deal with a certain set of themes, I think I have almost run out everything out there, there's really not that much. Everything else just seems sort of boring to me.
Like, I love studio ghibli for the most part, there's lots of depth there, but I feel sort of a disconnect because I don't think Ghibli films are very liberal. Though, maybe if more conservative leaning things were like their films I would find them more interesting.
I've gone between thinking most artists are liberal, to now where I suspect a great deal of them might actually be sort of right wing, it's hard to tell. But being an artist sort of lends itself to being liberal since it is not a conventional profession at all.

I would have to analyze studio ghibli films more to kind of get an idea of what their leaning is, I would guess they are liberal a little bit, but like they're kind of soft. I guess I would also have to watch media that I think is conservative for sure.
Like more conservative right wing media seem really rigid in their outlook, the characters would all be really serious and there wouldn't be a really noticeable difference between characters, they would all sort of be same-y, stoic.
I guess a lot of artists are probably at least liberal, which is still often times right wing, but it's probably a lot fairer then regular coomservatives

Is Hayao Miyazaki socialist?
Although he never abandoned his leftist beliefs, he went on to reject Marxism for things he deemed negative such as the inescapable distinction of classes. Capitalism and globalization have been addressed in his films, not in a determinate rejection of them but rather as a reflection on modern life.

Honestly I haven't really seen that many studio ghibli films, they're all on Netflix now but I haven't gotten around to watching them yet. It was hard to find them growing up of course so I never saw most of them, thus it's a little hard to say what his political leaning are, I would have to sort of dissect his work further, it's much easier to just like, look up the political leanings of main Ghibli staff I guess.
But one thing that has struck me about their films I've seen is they all feel like they're either set in or inspired by the Victorian era, they don't altogether seem that liberal to me to be honest.
Like in Spirited Away, the story seems to focus on the notion of 'hard work' and places some importance on that.
But I guess it could be considered Marxist in the end because (well her parents eat too much and turn into pigs) the main character doesn't eat too much, I believe the other dimension in spirited away must have to do with the seven deadly sins in some way, which is Christian, since it outright depicts gluttony.
The creatures that make her work are not really human, so that would have to be taken into consideration.
But I guess there's just sort of something old fashioned feeling about Studio Ghibli, which would make sense giving the leading members ages. Which makes it feel sort of old fashioned which you would think is kind of conservative.
I feel like Ghibli places a lot of emphasis on the notion of some kind of 'purity' which like, seems like it might be right wing or something. Maybe it's because most of their movies just had sort of a spiritual slant to them I guess as well.
A Castle in the Sky is another example, there's lots of symbolism for spiritual reasons and for example it's obviously set in like an earlier time period I don't know when the early 20th or late 19th century.

Honestly after studying Marxism it would make sense that it would be sort of bright, and even colorful and sort of optimistic, like it’s not necessarily that different then what you see with some types of conservatism. Except, a lot of conservatism is muted and kind of grey for some reason it’s like they hate color.
Liking color is almost progressive, and rebellious but oddly enough even with the people who fit that label oddly enough they mostly just like black and muted colors too like they live in the 18th century. You just can’t escape all that old fashioned shit for some reason

okay so like, it’s not always all black.
I have researched some moments in history and there were movements, like working class movements, and for example in the early 20th century popular clothing, there was a story behind that was kind of progressive, particularly these types of hats. Eventually though, a lot of fashion trends that were popular turned into basically the military uniforms that were used in WW1.
And I’ve experienced that though I think it was clothing that could have been considered “black” or whatever. For a brief period in time, I think this was still during Trumps first term as president, I was in Montreal and I had to buy some new clothes and I noticed there more then anywhere else it was like the clothing they were trying to get it to merge slowly into military clothing. But it was similar to the early 19th century. Like there was these jackets that were popular I saw Jews wearing them too, but they kind of called to mind jackets that were similar to what fighter pilots wore during one of the World Wars, and like the same with these pants, I thought lots of people wearing these pants I decided to try some just because they looked okay and I thought it seemed like hardly anybody was wearing jeans. So like eventually wearing these pants different ways I discovered they were sort of skinnier in the legs but baggier towards the hips and waist and I discovered if you adjusted them enough they basically looked like Nazi pants. I was like wtf I think I might still own them.
But some of these clothing items that were popular made their way from the west to like Russia and China as an example and were shown being worn in social movements like the Russian October revolution.
But I guess it doesn’t actually count because they probably just didn’t wear so much black back then, well it’s interesting to think why though. It was less common and less easier probably and people probably had different conceptions of themselves.

But I wanted to see if people wore black in different centuries and there is some evidence they did. Mostly I just looked up famous “infps” and there was Edgar Allen Poe and probably William Shakespeare they thought he wore lots of black. But there was also I think many pilgrims and like religious groups who wore almost all black I guess.
I’m familiar with other colors and their history & meaning a bit, but I was never really interested in black until recently I never would have though that it would be so common and popular I don’t understand why that is

Basically I’ll
Just say what I think I realized
I’ll try to simplify it basically it seems like the world is almost separates into two halves but it doesn’t actually come down to that exactly, it’s hard to work out the math, but there are at least two sides that have large impetus on the world.
I was thinking and I think quite possibly that liberalism and communism could actually be sort of against me.
Here’s why I think that is. Basically I think there are different types of people, and some people have to sort of be involved, doing things all the time and interacting with the world in some way. They basically almost need to have jobs and work or something like that. This is partially the reason why we don’t have a Marxist revolution, because the people in charge think there is almost no need for it because they essentially know that enough people need to be productive, do lots of things/be involved, which basically leads to having to work too.
Then there’s the other side, basically the other side is just less motivated in general. They’re sort of more dreamy, almost ethereal, head in the clouds. I guess basically they don’t need as much conductive activities or to be stimulated as much. They basically want to invent robots to do all the difficult jobs and then they don’t care what they do after that. They’ll live in some dream world utopia, which is not actually suitable for all people’s. I think of connotations like heaven, they are more prone to lots of abstraction and things like religion.
Sure they like doing physically active things too like riding bikes or walking their dogs or some shit but it’s like they almost live on some type of plateau

Think some people need too much structure, it’s a form of conservatism I guess, like the thing is all forms of conservatism originate from liberalism sort of.
I never realized it before, but I think liberalism is probably the belief system that’s kind of synonymous with being kind of space-y in a certain way and being really prone to like I don’t know, not necessarily being a dreamer I think outright but something similar just sort of being spacey
Like it seems like, I think that probably is some type of a real difference. The fact that some people need structure so much and have to be active all the time.
It’s basically why conservatism is red in the United States I think. And liberalism is blue lol.

But this can almost lend to being like a robot I think or something you need a some type of a system to function so badly.
And then I guess, it’s almost testing how right wing or conservative you can be. That’s almost the difference between some of the countries that are considered more right wing and conservative and countries that aren’t as much.
Though liberalism is considered right wing though.
That’s why they made this almost conservative form of Marxism, there’s no proper word for it I guess, because rightfully so there is almost some kind of split between the left and Marxism and liberalism I guess. Marxism is often associated with liberalism I guess, but in there somewhere, some of the people can’t easily be as conventionally conservative I think, but they still can be right wing/conservative a bit.
Like they take to the system a bit the respond to the structure that’s provided for them
Their personalities are a certain way and they are probably wired in a certain way they’re probably a bit more practical or something and concrete and they place greater emphasis on experience I guess
I’m not really condoning either side I’m just saying wait I’ve observed/think might be true

I guess the MBTI doesn’t work on me necessarily for sure the only thing that’s true is that I am an Fi-dom pretty much which basically comes down too I realized, what I learned from the MBTI to an extent is that most people are largely defined by their environment, living conditions and the present moment. Fi can see beyond the material world they say basically.
Also I realized, they call INFPs idealists, well that’s a complicated assumption and label, for one I don’t really agree with a lot of philosophy. I’m not entirely a ‘realist’ because there’s tons of philosophy work on what being a realist is or different forms of ‘realism’ but I think that’s basically a roundabout way, that’s basically a way of saying that you only accept the ‘present moment’ and its condition and you take them for all there is. That’s obviously some kind of a ruse I think. Simultaneously, an idealist is a fuggin weird as fuck philosophy, it basically means you think your thoughts are reality or some shit, and that reality doesn’t proceeds the mind and thoughts. What the fuck is that? God damn, I’m not exactly out right an idealist, but I do sort of have ideals in that I have strong principles and moral beliefs that don’t always have to do with just accepting reality. Strong moral standards and beliefs I guess. Well, I don’t know if they’re outright ideals entirely though. Like for example I value harmony, it’s almost an ideal, but it’s not entirely at the same time. Connection and harmony are pretty important to me.
I also can see the future and think ahead/plan pretty well. But in my life that’s been sort of the ongoing defining thing for me is that I’m not simply bound or defined by my external circumstances or environment
So they make a difference between sensor and intuitives but also all types seem like sensors to me because they’re so defined by their circumstances and external environments and stimuli

I also forgot to mention but I also don’t form opinions or views solely on logic, like I rely on my gut instinct, experiences, and feelings to come to conclusions. Like I trust my intuition about things basically.
Which is also why I’m not actually a thinker even though I test as a thinker sometimes which is why the MBTI doesn’t completely work on me.
I can’t imagine just accepting the present day reality or your external situations

Ugh I get the future now, the future is not
for people like me necessarily anymore they decided to give the future world to them because they like dreaming/planning and thinking about the future a lot more like in terms of A.I., robots, and space travel.
But still realizing this, if I don’t have the future at all anymore, then what do I have exactly? There’s still not enough progress that has been made for people like me it seems like just about

I think i may understand what it is with Darth Vader
He basically goes to hell in a sense, and those who are against him the most and stand in opposition to Vader might be Christians or something like that though that doesn't completely make sense either
Just like the breathing apparatus thing his breathing what is the cause or explanation from that? I can't see Christians doing that.
It's just that what I found that might have necessarily been a hint towards the predicament of being Darth Vadered might have been Christianity

Ugh she wears like all black in her new film
Halsey has two notable connections to the word "Americana": "New Americana", a song from her debut album, and her role in the 2023 film "Americana". "New Americana" is an alternative/electronic pop song about the normalization of counterculture in the US, while the film "Americana" is a crime thriller where Halsey plays a character fleeing her mysterious past.

Justin Timberlake is generally known to be politically liberal and leans towards the Democratic Party. He has publicly supported Democratic candidates and has been involved in fundraising for them. In 2016, he and his wife, Jessica Biel, hosted a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. He also used his music and social media to express his political views, including criticism of Donald Trump.
Well that’s interesting Justin timberlake is not conservative I was unsure about that
