So will gold dump when drumpf makes peace with russia or what? I feel like we could get a dip in the coming months. We're also due for a market correction. I don't really think they will be able to dump rates as hard as is speculated, inflation is still like 3% and tariff impact will keep it up.

The graphene meme has been around for a decade. It's not without reason that as silver makes gains, new technology will emerge in an attempt to replace it. Half of fishing is knowing what they're biting on at the right time.

We're going to see a lot of shit like this as the ai sector comes on stronger. Wild ass claims that they've found a motherlode, they just need investment dollars to get it out. Hole with a liar on top.....

I see no point, I only sell when I need additional cash or am of opinion that there are better stocks for good price. Other then that I don't want to bother with 19% tax on gains and guessing should I re enter some position. I don't go very deep into smaller than main stock exchanges stocks and don't use debt. So If I bought something I need some solid reason to sell. Price going up on itself is not one of them. I don't play the game of timing the market as market has my time plan deep in his ass.

HG isn’t mining graphene, they are synthesizing it. Apparently it is more pure than what naturally occurs. I’d bet it’s cheaper than extraction, eg synthetic diamonds. But they want $250k/ton and I have no idea what the actual market is for the β€œpurer” stuff. No specifics only vague optimism from the leadership. They say some 60 potential customers signed 18 month NDAs with other companies to test their product before signing a contract. Some of the 18mo test periods are closing soon.

High risk but I can see why believers are fervent. Could be big if a military contract is inked. But it could be smoke and mirrors. Impossible to tell as layman observer. I skimmed the capybara report and there are some red flags with the promotional connections and the demand expectations. I’m intrigued enough to keep an eye on it.

Scarcity is real and some things are just inelastic. That's just how it is. When we leave this planet, like for real, the first thing we will do when we get wherevwr we're going is mine that motherfucker. Anybody says otherwise is selling snake oil

graphENE is supposed to be single atomic sheets of carbon bonded in a hexagon pattern, basically
the thinner the better, and it can't be mined
it's different from graphite, but it can be produced from graphite iirc

Natural diamonds vs synthetic diamonds serve different markets. Technology created that market. Now, natural diamonds are coveted for sentimentality, not because they are more cost effective. Diamond tipped equipment produced today mostly uses β€œlab grown” diamonds. The market for mass produced synthetic graphene is unknown because the depth is limited by the high costs to produce tiny quantities using existing techniques.

>>23156099
The jargon in this field is messy when it overlaps with conveying the tech to the retail market. As I understand it (not a scientist) a single layer of carbon atoms is the chemical definition of graphene. What their machines are alleging to produce is 50nm diameter platelets of graphene which are stacked approximately 7-8 layers thick. These stacks are attracted to each other and form larger flakes. The unique thing seems to be the flakes do not grow axially, they are attracted only at the edges not the faces, to own another. So they combine in a fractal-like configuration to form larger flakes like a snowflake. As opposed to large columnar structures , like you would get with a bunch of tiny circular magnets.

The marketing and the science behind their product are not well distinguished, but after reading it appears that what comes out of their machines has specific advantages due to the consistency and purity of these flakes compared to what is already on the market.

I’m not buying in, yet. I’ll wait for the Nasdaq listing next year to materialize before I revaluate taking a position. I don’t care for the market drama but the science is interesting to me.

Dr. Hennigh on Snowline pending drill hole V-25-143:

"What's really interesting about these systems is they can deliver surprises and the big surprise Snowline has delivered recently is, look over here on the right. They've got a drill hole they just drilled recently that hit a big whack with visible gold down it. Is that likely a new discovery? I would say yeah. Could it be big? Well, that hole could be the first hole of what you see on the left (Valley). A one drill hole discovery can quickly evolve into something absolutely enormous. Could this be a double? I don't know yet but to see a drill hole like 143 that looks as good as any over there in the Valley deposit, yeah, that gets you fired up."

their near-term production is worthless, hurricane is a prime acquisition target given it borders an orano/cameco property along the same trend (that they're drilling hoping to find more >30% pockets) and a denison joint to the south. the big potential is if the US government overturns Virginia's moratorium on uranium mining and Cole's Hill comes back into play. I own some but it's a difficult hold as hurricane is 10 years from production and the management have nexgen dna that makes them spend on stupid stuff (like when they tried to acquire Anfield).

With all due respect for your picks Finbro as you did provide evidence of your folio performance, but I disagree, purely on technical basis.

Could it become fantastic mine in the future, sure why not, but entering now when there is divergence on RSI, I could not convince myself.

Especially when you mention Lassonde curve, which would clearly indicate we are on the top of the first hill and it should dip for 2 - 3 years before it goes to higher highs.

They've had to scramble for funds due to the US development bank loan being delayed, but have kept construction on track with raises. It's by far the cheapest significant uranium play on the market and it'll be in production next year. Highest grades in Africa, poached all of Orano's staff when Niger kicked the french out of the country. When full funding is secured (loan or jv in the next 6-8 weeks) they will be selling a royalty and forward selling production to reinforce the bank balance, easy 5x by next February and much higher if uranium does a thing.

Gold majors are printing money, SGD (Valley) will get bought and there won't be any significant dip or multi-year dip. They're adding ounces to Valley and making new discoveries with the Fed about to start cutting sending gold higher. With Snowline, RSI and Lassonde are about as accurate as Gary

At the moment nothing you aren't aware of, will spend next month doing additional research.

But most of my thesis comes from TA with bit of balance sheet and news back up - worked for me so far.

Entered SALT recently for that reason, we will see how it plays out and I also understand your concerns. Won't be a surprise if it dips to 0.20, but hey ho it is what it is.

One thing I agree with Rick is buying stuff on sale - to get outsized returns you have to suck it up and buy when it's red, preferably deep red.

I'm also waiting for the SVM to decide where it wants to be in regards to that channel I outlined some threads ago, once it decides then so will I.

I am interested in SALT down here. I'm not much of a technicals guy (all I do is look at the basics: moving averages, higher/lower highs/lows, RSI, that's about it) but I think the long side may finally be turning into the winning side after a long time. May be hammering in a bottom. But much like with GLO I don't really want to have anything to do with SALT until I see a real financing. Been a long time coming there as well, and that's probably why they are redoing their Feasibility Study. The last one had unappealing IRR which doesn't mesh well with being a junior with high cost of capital. The UFS should preferably show at least 20% IRR, and then they should really get that funding and start building the thing. The cost of capital for juniors is typically around 10% so a 10% discount rate for the UFS is what I'll be looking at when considering the NAV of the asset. It's a cult stock that got waaaay overpriced, now it's much more reasonably valued.

I am still very long SVM but not looking to add. It's perhaps even a bit too large a position, but these kinds of assets don't come around too often. Political risks seem minimal too unlike something like Solgold where I am constantly wondering whether they'll get the permits to build it. Then again that's exactly why I was able to buy a bunch of Solgold shares under 10p and exit half of my position after securing my cost basis. Now I'm just riding free with those shares.

Definitely agree with Rick, sometimes you just get to buy really hated high quality assets for a song, and it may take quite a while but you'll have the odds stacked in your favor. Really cheap and high quality assets don't tend to stay cheap forever. But they have to be high quality assets.

These chinkniggers have doubled after they took my Lumina shares for a pittance earlier this year. Should have just bought CMOC shares the moment they announced the takeover but I was so stuck up about somebody surely coming in with a higher bid, and then I got caught up waiting for a dip in CMOC that never came.

The lesson for me here was that sometimes you just gotta pay up even if somebody else didn't.
Anonymous (ID: HbzWn1vK) Finland No.23177339
I still remember back in October/November last year when I talked about getting into CNL and the impressive discoveries they started reporting on. My first buys were around US$4/share if I remember correctly. The stock was hated, and even after the Ramp Zone assays had started rolling in the market provided many opportunities to buy shares below US$6/share. I took off about half of my overweight position once the share price crossed US$10 mark. Today, the share price in NYSE has been making new all time highs above US$12/share. This has been one of my most successful trades of the year.

The lesson is that when the market doesn't seem to care about or react to amazing results, you can get many fantastic opportunities to express with your money that you do care.

I mean I can't be too unhappy, I made a nice +50% after all was said and done I think? The asset was just sold at such a pathetic NAV multiple, CMOC got away with paying less than 10% of NAV. I was planning on owning CMOC to enjoy the upside but never bought the shares because I wanted them cheaper. My mistake there, but also the company management and board at Lumina were partly at fault for selling the company for so cheap to begin with. I suspect they took home lucrative bonuses so it's not like they didn't get their incentive filled there.

Lessons learned, next time I'll do better and just buy the buyer outright when this happens. And I actually did do that when Veren and Whitecap combined, now comfortably long the combined company with a pretty large position. Should be a very good long term hold in the oil & gas sector.
