i wanted a raise at work so i started working harder so the boss would notice my excellent work ethic and give me more money but instead he told everyone that my hard work is now the new minimum and now everyone hates me
I've been working for 20 years and I just do the bare minimum these days and get told I'm doing a really good job and get raises. I probably put in about 1-2 honest hours a day.
